Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Complete store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.

• Maintain store staffing by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

• Maintain employee performance through coaching, counseling, and disciplinary procedures, as well as planning, monitoring, and evaluating job results.

• Effectively train, develop, and prepare employees for advancement opportunities.

• Achieve financial objectives by preparing budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and implementing corrective actions.

• Identify current and future customer needs by building relationships with customers and understanding their service expectations.

• Manage merchandise presentation by reviewing advertising, sales promotions, and display plans.

• Analyze operating and financial statements to evaluate profitability and store performance.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store environment for employees and customers.

• Recommend marketing strategy improvements by reviewing sales records and financial performance.

• Execute and monitor loss prevention and shrink reduction programs.

Qualifications and Skills

• Customer service-oriented with a strong understanding of business management processes.

• Strong leadership and customer management abilities.

• Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.

• Highly driven individual with proven success in motivating and building strong teams.

• Experience in shrink reduction, expense control, employee development, merchandising strategies, and brand management.

• Passion for board games, toys, puzzles, pop culture, and driving sales.

• Proven ability to recruit, hire, train, and coach successful teams.

• 3+ years of management experience in a specialty retail environment.

• Highly motivated, results-oriented, and committed to achieving store goals.

• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation

$22.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
