We are currently seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Seasonal Sales Associates to join our team at New Sudbury Centre in Greater Sudbury, Ontario.

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional customer service, helping customers find products they love, and maintaining a welcoming and engaging store environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, knowledgeable, and professional assistance throughout their shopping experience.

• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable games, puzzles, toys, and collectibles.

• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, process transactions accurately, and handle cash and electronic payments responsibly.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.

• Restock merchandise, organize product displays, and assist with inventory management.

• Develop strong product knowledge to confidently answer customer questions and provide recommendations.

• Work toward achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets while contributing to overall store performance.

• Assist customers with product inquiries, purchases, returns, and exchanges in accordance with company policies.

• Support promotional activities, seasonal displays, and merchandising initiatives.

• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude while working collaboratively with team members.

• Follow company policies, operational procedures, and workplace health and safety standards.

• Assist with other store-related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service preferred.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

• Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic personality with a customer-first mindset.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required.

• Dependable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality service.

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems are considered assets.

• Passion for or knowledge of games, puzzles, collectibles, and pop culture is an asset.

• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on store requirements.
