We are currently seeking a motivated, dependable, and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate – Key Holder to join our team at New Sudbury Centre.

In this role, you will deliver exceptional customer service, support daily store operations, and take responsibility for opening and closing procedures as required. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and confident in taking initiative while contributing to a positive and engaging store environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and recommending products based on their interests and needs.

• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, process transactions accurately, and handle cash and other payment methods responsibly.

• Perform store opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation, securing the premises, and following company security protocols.

• Support daily store operations, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming shopping environment.

• Maintain product displays, replenish merchandise, and assist with inventory management.

• Develop strong product knowledge to confidently recommend games, puzzles, toys, and collectibles.

• Work toward achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets while supporting overall store performance.

• Lead by example by demonstrating professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and outstanding customer service.

• Assist with resolving customer concerns professionally and efficiently.

• Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and ensure company policies and operational procedures are followed.

• Collaborate with store management and team members to maintain smooth and efficient store operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail, sales, or customer service preferred.

• Previous Key Holder, supervisory, or store opening and closing experience is considered an asset.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and exercise sound judgment.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Dependable, punctual, and responsible, with strong attention to detail.

• Comfortable handling cash transactions and following operational and security procedures.
